Day Treatment Programs

Our commitment is to help patients remain connected to their community while providing education and support they need to decrease the likelihood of relapse and the need for hospitalization. The Day Treatment Programming at River Oaks Hospital offers structured treatment programs that stabilize and treat patients for an extended period of time, three to five times per week.

Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs:

Clinicians work at providing patients with concrete and practical tools that will enhance their levels of independence and self-esteem and decrease the likelihood of an inpatient admission. We offer interventions for high functioning adults that focus on stress management, grief resolution, medication management, and coping and problem solving ability. In addition, we encourage family involvement in the treatment process and invite family members to participate in our Family Day, which is offered biweekly on Wednesdays.

PHP and IOP for the Treatment of Addictive Disorders and Dual Diagnosis:

Addictions are recognized as chronic and progressive processes that must be met with ongoing support and education. Clinicians recognize the importance of providing chemically dependent patients with an intense level of care in order to secure sobriety while working towards rehabilitation and connection to a support system in the community. The PHP is committed to a 12-Step approach to recovery and focuses on treating the whole patient including any co-existing mental health problem such as depression, anxiety or bi-polar illness.

Intensive Outpatient Program: 9am – 12pm Monday through Friday

Partial Hospitalization Program: 9am – 2pm Monday through Friday
